There are multiple direct and one stop flights from the NYC and Phili areas. There is Free Resort pick up at the Puerto Plata airport. The other option is Santiago, DR, which is a 1.5 hour or more ride in a mini-van ($75.00 each way) to the resort. The resort would arrange for the van pick up at the Santiago airport, and you would settle the fee directly with the Van driver.
